This Privacy Policy explains how Diamond Security ("the Bot," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Bot in a Discord server ("Server").

By adding Diamond Security to a Server or interacting with it, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

## 1. Information We Collect

To provide moderation and security functionality, Diamond Security may collect and store the following data:

- **Server data:** Server (Guild) ID, server name, and configuration settings you set for the Bot (e.g. enabled features, moderation settings).
- **Member data:** User IDs, usernames, and roles, used to enforce moderation actions and detect suspicious join/leave activity (e.g. raid detection).
- **Moderation logs:** Records of moderation actions taken by or through the Bot, such as warnings, mutes, kicks, or bans, including the user ID involved, the moderator who issued the action, the reason given, and the timestamp.
- **Message content (limited):** When the Message Content intent is used, the Bot processes message text in real time to detect spam, banned words, scam/phishing links, or other content that violates a Server's moderation rules. Only content that triggers a moderation action (e.g. a flagged message) may be stored as part of a moderation log entry; message content that does not trigger any action is not retained.

We do **not** collect passwords or private messages outside of servers where the Bot is present.

## 2. How We Use Information

Collected data is used solely to:

- Operate moderation and security features (e.g. spam detection, raid protection, banned word filtering, moderation case logging)
- Allow server moderators to review and manage moderation history within their own Server
- Maintain and improve the reliability and security of the Bot

We do **not** use message content or member data to train machine learning or AI models.

## 3. Data Storage

Data collected by Diamond Security is stored in a secured database operated by us. Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Bot's functionality, or until:

- A server removes the Bot and requests deletion of its data

## 4. Data Sharing

We do **not** sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Data collected by Diamond Security is used exclusively to operate the Bot's own features and is never shared with advertisers, analytics companies, or other outside parties.

The only exception is if disclosure is required by law (e.g. a valid legal request from law enforcement) or to comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Developer Policy.

## 5. Data Deletion

Server administrators may request deletion of their Server's data at any time by contacting us through our support server (see Section 7). Upon request, we will remove all stored data associated with that Server, including moderation logs and member records, except where retention is required by law.

## 7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same location with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Bot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
